the wedding!!!

I know you have already seen the pictures from C's album, but you have not heard the stories!!!

The bridesmaids! Lookin' good in my opinion! Re was the old matron of honor cause she is already hitched an what not. She hosted a bridal party horrible dress luncheon where we threw scandalous underwears at Steph. C and I liked our underwears because one was leopard! Scandalous!!!!
So we had a great time and people looked at us like freaks and might have thought we were trannies or we had not taken our lithium that day.

Here are the cousins!!! If you have ever seen the "real" X-Files you will already know who these people are. They are the best cousins someone could ask for and my only cousins. Small families rock ok?!?!?!
And if you have ever seen other pictures of us you would know that we liked to annoy our parents from a very young age by never taking an attractive picture! WE love making ugly faces!!!!
Here C and I are in the bridal room after we had gotten our hairs done. Don't we look pretty? then guess what we did??? There was a craft fair going on right beside the church! How perfect! We spent about an hour there browsing the old lady crafts. That is what I have realized most craft fairs involve, we all must be about 60.
Anyways, I saw this old lady had made these cute cute aprons. The pattern was better than any I have seen around Norman. They looked like they were from the 40s and I bought one just so I could copy it... Bad T! I tried it on and the lady decided to take a picture of me to send to potential clients because she thought I was such a good model. See Tyra!? You were wrong!!! She needs to have another petite/chinless season!
So now I am this old lady's apron model. DONE! Should have charged her right? Am I right? no.
So then we got into our dresses...
And looked awesome! the dress had built in boobs. What could be better? (speaking of, they were advertising boobs jobs in boyd street? RUDE!)
And so it was time for the wedding. I walked down the isle with a groomsman that was a tad shorter than me and stood by the alter. As I saw my cousin walk down in her white dress I have to admit the softer side came out in me and I teared up as she kissed her father (uncle Greg) and was handed off to Kyle. I think I was happy for her but I also remember at Re's wedding thinking that we are not children anymore. Not the cousins who used to make awesome movies about monsters or who used to dress up and pretend to wrestle or play zelda all day. It is kind of sad when you realize that some things will never be the same again, but you must also come to appreciate the changes before you. The only thing I am worried about now is I want them for every holiday!!!!
after the wedding lookin' good! Now we were off to the reception were we had to set up a little before anyone came. We ate lots of cake and I know that I drank a little too much wine/champagne. I smoked my dad's cigar (C did too) and flung my head around so much that my neck was almost unmovable the next day. We got our mom and our Aunt to dance (YES!) and then as I was taking a breather the POlice came and said it was too loud! LAME!!!!
Then we just went home and I passed out about 9:30. That's what happens when you begin drinking at 5! At least for me... those of you who have ever gotten frustrated with my love of sleep sometimes over love of staying out... Hahahaha!
Well it was a great time and I enjoyed spending so much time with my family. My parents we at my house pretty much all week and the house was so clean! It's getting a tad messy again now that they have left.. SAD... I must clean it.
Oh, by the way guess who was accepted for the job in the NICU?!?!?! ME ME!!!

I am gonna cupquake your world!

Just ask to smell my lips...

Anyways, I got an interview in the NICU!! Now friends all I need is just a few more good vibes and positive thinking to bless me with some people skills (not like at the sushi restaurant, am I right?).
This weekend is my beautiful and amazing cousin's wedding. I will make sure to take some video or a picture. Hopefully the video will be of Carolyn dancing or something. So it will be great!
LOVE,
I was waiting for things to start falling more into place.

Look! I took pictures!

So, newest thing is this little dog we are looking after. Dandy is his name and he is 9 and I can carry him around with one hand.
I am usually not a fan of rat dogs but... I do like rats. He is very demanding though and yelps until I let him sleep with me. I am writing this is my bed and he demanded to sleep next to me. He is funny but way different than Riley and Bruno. I don't think they even think he is a real dog.
this is me trying on C's mummy wrap. Then I wanted to be a mummy! Look at what a cool mummy I would make! C thought the head wrapping was weird and wanted to look "hot". I think it looks way more like a mummy! But then decided I should wear the costume I made and be a flower... So again, Kirsten and I look alike. We always do that somehow. I think it's similar brains. We went to the game like this and you would be so disappointed in lack of costumes at the game. I think people actually dared to think we were the weird ones for dressing up on Halloween!! My flower pedals were red, duh, OU!
Anyways we got stared at a lot while walking to the game! A LOT. Usual right?
Never ask Kirsten again about the rating of your afro...
I see that gloved hand on my butt.
Then after half time we headed over to the Mont because Jess was working and we were starving!!! And it was getting cold. No jackets for these costumes!
We ate some wonderful queso and burgers and swirls! Then after we were getting colder and trying to bargain with many people for a ride over messages when we saw Shawn and his friend Tyler... more swirls! And I confronted a popular person from ENHS class of 05 who I recognized but who had no idea who I was...band nerd. Yup I yelled at him a little and all the people thought it was great. And it was not awkward because I had a swirl.

Oh and I caught some of my hair on fire because I was leaning over the candle on our table for warmth...
Shawn is such a pretty flower.
Then we met up with our Brad! Octomom! He looked so hilarious and throughout the night put cups in his moomoo. I think he might dance with boobs better than me.

Here is a closer of the cute face.

Dancing! See that roman beside Brad. He was gross. Kirtsen and I were just minding our own business and he dances on us and is way too handsy! I don't even think he looked at my face. SICK!! Then I started punch dancing and kicking and cleared everyone away with bad dance moves and fear for their faces. That will teach them to dance with me!
I kinda feel like she really looks like a Caterpillar here.
Again in the willow trees...
...
she accidentally tore off a branch. then ran around with it and wanted to keep it. I think she looks magical. Then the part got busted! But it was ok I wanted to go home and sleep! I think we were the only ones not freaking out and we are all wonderfully overage! We just walked out and said goodnight to the cops.
Awesome Halloween.
Brad left all the babies on my kitchen floor. What a bad mom.

the rest of your life!

It is hard trying to decide what is supposed to make you happy for the rest of your life in 4 (maybe 5..) very short years. I applied for 3 jobs today for nurse partnerships, which usually turn into full time jobs once you have passed the boards and what not. I applied in the NICU and I would really love to be there helping to grow little babies. I find that I am really passionate when it comes to the care of babies (not having them myself though... NO, no, no!!!). They are so new and completely and totally innocent. They need you to make sure they are growing and pain free. and if you have ever seen a 1kg baby they are the smallest and most precious little things!!
Dear friends please think good thoughts so that I may get an interview!

I'm in love with a stripper...

Kirsten that is. I hope she takes a picture of her pole burns from Saturday.

Finally, last weekend.

HEllO!!!! This is my new house, I just bought it in Austin. And it's all painted and wonderful. I will fix up the front yard a little.
I also bought the blue house. It's mine too. Ok, so I just dream of living in a colorful house that my neighbors will not be embarrassed of. Well, who cares if they are embarrassed! I want a colorful house! Can I paint brick?
ACL!!! Super fun!!! I got to hang out with some amazing people and see some amazing bands. It was a beautiful day on Friday with the sun shinning and the grass soft beneath your feet. I saw John Legend and almost died from sexy. Then I rocked and recycled and got a free T-shirt. What up! Then we walked over to King of Leon and... well, just watch...

Saturday it rained all day... my fingers were permanently pruny. They would not get dry! I wore 4 shirts and by the end of the day they were all wet. And I think I saw a 17 year old boy make out drunkenly with a 35-40 year old woman. Cougar!!!
I saw some good people and bought a beautiful scarf.
Love.

Crafts, books, and dog hair.

I feel like the title explains my life.
Anyways, over the weekend I went to my cousin's bridal shower and had a super fun fun time (Thanks Re!) and was so happy to spend time with my little but wonderful extended family. While I was there I remembered these stuffed animals Aunt Carol used to make us and we called them ogy dogs (Don't know why?) and we loved them so much. I remember she never finished the back legs on one of them and we loved it just the same. So I attempted to make my own ogy. then I made another...
Then on Saturday Brad, Kirsten and I had so much fun!!! We went to the third leg and of course everyone knew Brad and looked at us funny. I wore the apple dress I made and actually got a few compliments so then I could be a big old snob and claim "I made it". HA!
I taught some guy the cupid shuffle and we did the bunny hop while people stared... love it!
On Sunday we went to see final destination number 50 in 3D. I don't even know why I went. I paid ten bucks to not wear my 3D glasses half the time because I kept blinking rapidly and shielding my face from the deadly things they kept hurling towards the audience. And I don't think I watched a single death scene. They were just so gross I covered my eyes when the music started hinting at death. I don't think it is a bad thing not to get used to brutal death. The woman checked our IDs for the movie but then I saw some 12 year old Hannah Montana look a likes walk in ahead of us!?!?!? Do you get fake IDs at 12? Then we saw them waiting for their parents to pick them up. I was getting all angry at it and Brad called me an old woman.
I brought the little ogy dog to the movie for moral support and on the way home in the car put it on Brad's shoulder... made it talk to him... he said, "Oh, hahahah (awkward laugh) hi ogy... I have weird friends".
Have you read the about me? He should have already known that.
